As a Part-Time Porter at CLS Living, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members. Your attention to detail and commitment to property upkeep directly contribute to resident satisfaction and the overall positive experience within the community.
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, breezeways, and entryways by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
Power wash sidewalks, courtyard areas, stairwells, and parking lots as needed
Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal in accordance with company policies and local regulations
Clean and sanitize public spaces, including restrooms, fitness centers, community rooms, and other amenity areas
Assist with setup and cleanup for resident events, meetings, and activities
Monitor and report maintenance concerns (leaks, broken fixtures, damage, safety hazards) to the appropriate team members
Keep outdoor areas clean and presentable by removing litter and supporting the landscaping appearance
Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and completing small repairs
Assist with package organization and distribution to residents as needed
Partner with the maintenance team to support overall property operations
Maintain a positive, professional, and helpful attitude when interacting with residents and visitors
Follow all safety protocols and properly handle, store, and dispose of cleaning materials
Support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining a motivated, organized, and productive team that represents the company professionally at all times

Bilingual in Spanish and English, with proficiency in English
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook for consistent communication and updates
Ability to maintain regular communication with lead maintenance technician and Chief Building Engineer
Previous experience in custodial, maintenance, or related roles preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical capability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects or equipment
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Understanding of rotating weekend schedule for trash pickup and trash chute clearing
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a neat and organized work environment
