Responsibilities

The Job At-A- Glance:

We are looking to add a Dynamic Project Coordinator who will be a key member of our Campus Life & Style Family. The Project Coordinator, will be responsible  for facilitating and coordinating all aspects of planned renovation projects and or Capital Improvements.  Additionally, having direct contact with vendors and ensuring milestones and deliverable schedules are being adhered too. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in weekly scheduled calls and assist with project agenda’s and minutes
  • Organize and plan meetings with project managers
  • Arrange and manage team goals/project schedules/new information and keeps all material up-to-date
  • Communicate timeline changes and new information to team; tracks project changes and adjust schedules as needed
  • Monitor current projects and coordinates all team members involved to keep workflow on track
  • Assist with project strategy and budget management
  • Assign new project tasks
  • Strategize with project manager when needed
  • In charge of keeping track of all project-related paperwork; ensure all needed materials are current and properly filed and stored
  • Provide administrative support for projects to include but not limited to Contract processing, vendor set up, coding and processing invoices
  • Set up and oversee the logistical support associated with storage units needed for scheduled projects
  • Responsible for purchasing and tracking all FF&E purchases
  • Assist the Department Senior Project Director with vendor management and cultivate working relationships
  • Oversee the purchase and management of all new pool furniture related to renovation projects
  • Oversee the purchase and management of all new signage related to renovation projects
  • Coordinate temporary signage requirements for reveals with Marketing
  • Coordinate reveal dates with Marketing
  • Evaluate existing processes and or protocols and provide input to improve best practices
  • Assist the National Director of Facilities with special projects as needed
  • Perform other job duties as requested by Supervisor

Qualifications

Relevant Systems, Platforms and Experience

  • A Bachelor degree; or 2-5 years’ experience in the student/multi-family housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and Property Management software (Entrata).
  • Working knowledge of market rate and LIHTC programs and Fair Housing Laws and EEO Laws.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized with a structured approach to overseeing and executing on responsibilities
  • Superior computer skills; well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, strong and thorough knowledge of Excel
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project management Concepts
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Customer service oriented
  • Multi-family experience preferred, but not mandatory
  • CAD experience not required but helpful
  • Some travel required

Pay Range

USD $60,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
